Transfer Agencies

Clients who receive PCA services should be happy with both their PCAs and their agency. Clients often randomly select their PCA agency at the time of their Initial Client Assessment and never make a change. Others mistakenly think they have to wait until their next Reassessment to switch agencies. Most don't realize they can transfer agencies at any time. It is actually a relatively easy process.

Many of our current clients have transferred to A Caring Company, Inc. from other agencies. Over the years, common complaints of other agencies include:

  • Unfriendly or inaccessible office staff.
  • Low PCA pay rates.
  • Poorly trained PCAs.
  • Payroll issues, such as PCAs not being paid on time.
  • The Qualified Professional does not make required visits.
  • Staff unresponsive to client questions or concerns.

We will also take care of coordinating the rest of your transfer, including hiring any current PCAs that you wish to bring to our company.

Note: Transfering agencies may take up to a month for DHS to (1) process the required Agency Transfer Forms and to (2) ensure any PCA that is transferring to our agency has enough time to pass another background study.
