At A Caring Company, Inc., our staff consists of good people and we take pride in being an integral component in our clients' lives. No matter the age, physical circumstance, or mental condition of the client, A Caring Company, Inc. and our PCAs help raise our client's capacity to enjoy life. For each client, we work closely with his / her Responsible Party to create a thorough arangement of services and find compatible care givers.

Responsible Party

Ulitmately, decisions about the health care of a client are made by the client's Responsible Party. A client's Responsible Party may be the client themselves, or may be a separate individual who is capable of providing the support necessary to assist the client when the person is assessed as unable to direct his / her own care (i.e., minors and incapacitated adults). Key responsibilities of the Responsible Party are listed below:

Attend assessments for PCA services to help the client make informed choices.
Determine if the client's health and safety are assured with the current PCA services.
Help develop the PCA Care Plan with the Qualified Professional.
Actively participate in planning and direction of PCA services.
Sign the PCA timesheets after services are provided to verify the services.
Monitor the PCA weekly to ensure the Care Plan is followed and client needs are met.
Be accessible to the client and PCA when services are provided.
