Our mission is to provide aid, comfort, and compassion through personalized home health care services to help our clients attain their desired lifestyles and to meet their health care needs.
A Caring Company, Inc. is comprised of dedicated, passionate professionals. Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), staff members, and a Qualified Professional (QP) form each client's unique team. Dedicated to client satisfaction, the team does its best to provide a high level of personalized care and attend to all of the client's needs. Cooperation and enthsuiasm throughout ensure that A Caring Company, Inc. provides the best quality of home care services possible.
Within the PCA program, the Qualified Professional is the one who works directly with the client and/or the client's Responsible Party to ensure that the services provided by the PCA agency meet the client's needs. Each client is assigned a QP to work with. Using the County's PCA Assessment and Service Plan, the QP helps to develop a personalized Care Plan, which outlines the services that the agency provides. Going forward, the QP oversees the care of the client, ensuring that the client receives quality care that meet all needs. At A Caring Company, Inc., a Registered Nurse (RN) acts as the client's Qualified Professional.
At A Caring Company, Inc., our clients often develop a good rapport with their Qualified Professional. Clients are encouraged to call their QP to chat about their lives, as well as to ask questions, discuss ongoing aid, or describe changing health care needs.
At A Caring Company, Inc., the services that we provide to our clients are performed by our Personal Care Assistants. PCAs can be provided by our company, or they may be a client's family member or friend. When our agency provides a PCA, we work closely with the client to make sure he/she will be happy with that PCA. It is very important that PCAs and clients are compatible; We do our best to assign specific PCAs to specific clients so everyone is content.
Because each client is unique, a PCA's duties and tasks will vary depending on the person that the PCA is caring for. The tasks that our PCAs carry out may include assisting clients with dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, transfers, mobility, positioning, toileting, as well as helping clients with health-related procedures and tasks, intervening and redirecting behavior, and providing assistance with age appropriate Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs). Prior to working with a client, A Caring Company, Inc. ensures that all PCAs receive the required training and possess the necessary skills to provide high quality services.
Our office staff is dedicated to helping our clients and our PCAs. They work hard to answer any questions, prevent problems, and keep the business running. Each staff member has completed the required training through Minnesota's Department of Human Services (DHS) and they are responsible for hiring PCAs, preparing/filing paperwork, billing the State for claims, and processing payroll. They also keep A Caring Company, Inc. up to date on all changes within the PCA program.
